The Wild Atlantic surrounds the Beara Peninsula, moulding the land with crashing waves and winter storms. There is something intoxicating and exhilarating about looking out on its vastness, its unknown power and undiscovered depths. Each of the three bands that form this ring are hand-forged and textured individually, before being joined to evoke an advancing wavefront. The breaking wave’s edge resembles sea-foam. This ring represents the land-shaping force of the ocean - there is nothing delicate about it, yet it flows and forms to your finger like the ocean it represents.
